New ABRA In-Wall Smart Switch Offers Flexibility and Control

Matter-certified Wi-Fi control provides best-in-class performance, seamless smart home integration

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – Intermatic Incorporated today announced its new ABRA In-Wall Smart Switch, a versatile Wi-Fi control that delivers best-in-class performance and homeowner-friendly features. The in-wall switch offers simple 7-day Astronomic ON/OFF scheduling and makes it easy to create customized lighting scenes and smart home automations using traditional light bulbs.

Designed for both residential and light commercial applications, the smart switch features an impressive input voltage range of 120-277 VAC and supports electronic ballast/LED loads of up to 10 A. Occupants can control lights and loads at the device using a simple paddle switch or use the ABRA app to control the switch wirelessly via smartphone or tablet. The ABRA app also lets users control the switch by voice command through popular voice assistant platforms.

“In a crowded category, the ABRA In-Wall Smart Switch stands out for its robust performance, flexible installation options, and user-focused app experience,” says Leigh Herman, IoT Product Manager at Intermatic. “It caters to serious smart home enthusiasts as well as smart-curious homeowners and businesses looking to add convenience and energy efficiency to their day-to-day.”

The ABRA In-Wall Smart Switch takes just minutes to install and can be used in single-pole or 3-way configurations. In multi-way installations, the smart switch can be paired with a standard 3-way light switch and does not require a special relay or companion switch.
