New Surface-Mount Solutions Deliver Secure, Convenient Power in Shared Outdoor Spaces

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – Intermatic Inc. today announced the launch of its new Heavy-Duty Outdoor Power Pedestals, durable solutions that provide convenient access to power in shared spaces. The easy-to-install, UL-approved solutions are built with 14-gauge stainless steel and are designed to withstand the harshest outdoor elements.

Available in eight models, the single- and double-gang surface mount solutions can be installed in a variety of applications, including public parks, commercial buildings, RV campgrounds, and more. They’re ideal for both retrofit and new construction projects and are a simple way to support everyday power needs (e.g., phone charging) and facility operations.

Heavy-duty power pedestals are constructed with powder-coated stainless steel, which limits maintenance needs. Each pedestal also includes a self-closing lid with a lockable hasp to prevent unauthorized access.

Double-gang power pedestal models can accommodate four unique receptacle configurations; single-gang solutions are designed to fit a standard 20 A GFCI receptacle. All power pedestal solutions include a two-year limited warranty.

• Lockable Hasp – Rest easy knowing each power pedestal is protected from unauthorized access with a secure, lockable hasp
• Receptacle Format - Choose from an array of single-gang and double-gang configurations
• Size/Color Options - Select 18” or 24” pedestal heights as well as black or gray color styles
