New Programmable Switches and Phase Dimming Controller Allow for Greater Customization, Enhanced Performance
LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – Intermatic Inc. today announced the launch of its ALC-2B-BT 2-Button Programmable Switch, ALC-4B-BT 4-Button Programmable Switch, and ALC1-P Phase Dimming Controller. The new devices are an expansion of the ARISTA® Advanced Lighting Control System, a customizable, contractor-focused commercial lighting control solution.
“When we first launched ARISTA in 2021, we planned for the system to evolve based on customer needs,” says Eric Eronen, product manager at Intermatic. “These solutions give electrical contractors, specifying engineers, and occupants even greater flexibility when installing ARISTA and offer a new level of control during daily operation.”
New ALC-2B-BT and ALC-4B-BT Programmable Switches take the place of traditional in-wall switches and can be hardwired or battery-powered, allowing for extreme versatility and easy installation. Both programmable switches give occupants a new level of control and make it easy to toggle between lighting scenes and control dimming within an indoor space.
The ALC1-P Phase Dimming Controller is a room controller that is specifically designed to support phase dimming fixtures, such as track lighting and sconces. It’s also compatible with electronic ballast, LED, Tungsten, MLV, and ELV loads.
“Our goal is to simplify what can often feel like a complicated process for installers,” adds Eronen. “Features like out-of-the-box dimming functionality and wireless mounting options help remove obstacles during installation and allow electrical contractors to focus on tailoring the system to meet project needs.“
All three solutions are compatible with the ARISTA Advanced Lighting Control System and are integrated into the ARISTA app. Users can easily add the devices to an existing ARISTA installation or use them to build a new ARISTA setup from scratch.
